David Durst - Artist & Educator

Durst's work in the early to mid 1940s was figurative and naturalistic.  In later years, his work became more abstract with bold fields of color.  His watercolors in particular -- though seemingly abstract -- were strongly influenced by underwater scenes as a result of his scuba diving in the Bahamas.The location of many of Durst's work in private collections is unknown at present.
